This is Nicholls vs Henderson.

City chief should not get anywhere near his sole rival due to a lack of chase experience.
But on his beating of knowsley road in a ptp, and a line through wonderwall, I reckon the five pounds he receives might just tip the scales.
All depends on wether City Chief can jump a fence.
The odds on Nicholls runner is rated far superior and should win, but my guess is that Henderson has city chief spot on and well schooled for this chase debut and a front running ride might just get him home in this match race.
It has never been an open rivalry but if the trainers could ride these two horses themselves today they would!
