Just read that Constitution Hill won’t be running here. The New Lion running plans elsewhere also
    Step forward Sir Gino?

Henderson all but confirmed it earlier. I hope Wille sends Lossiemouth and a pacemaker over because I’ll take Sir Gino on with her all day.
Totally wrong decision in my opinion. What happens Constitution Hill shouldn’t have any affect on Sir Ginos plans. He put in one of the greatest debuts ever seen over fences and should be aimed at the Queen Mother. He never had great respect for his hurdles as a novice.

The New Lion will probably go to Cheltenham for the Relkeel on New Years Day or International on trials day.

Sir Gino from what we have seen a very talented horse destined to be a substitute.

The more I know the less I understand.

We obviously don’t know the field yet, but I’ve decided to bet Nemean Lion if he gets an entry

The only way Sir Gino gets beaten in this is through a lack of peak fitness. Lossiemouth is a grinder at two miles and hasn’t got anywhere near Sir Gino’s natural pace. The rest need to find loads.

Sr Gino some horse if he comes back as good , trained for chasing subs in in Fighting Fifth , back to chasing , wins chase , very sick and looks like a sub in for State Man and Consitution Hill this year .
Most important thing now is trainer needs to preserve unbeaten record at all costs, try not to race him too much .

We won’t see Lossiemouth over this side of the sea until the Festival now, with her being Mullins’s No.1 she will surely head to Leopardstown for the December Hurdle on 29th (which she is 1-3 for) and then the Irish Champion Hurdle in February (which she fell in last year)as that is the route he has taken with his main Champion Hurdle contenders.

Quite frankly unless the Donelly’s give the go ahead for Anzadam to take on Sir Gino, I doubt Willie will actually have a runner in the race.

I still think there’s a small chance we might see Lossiemouth here. Anzadam obviously can’t come now due to Sir Gino’s inclusion. The Leopardstown race looks really weak and Anzadam would no doubt be the likely winner if Lossie was switched here.
Richie probably won’t want to though as he already spent a couple of seasons playing second fiddle to the Donnellys with State Man. He had stated after State Man’s injury, that he wanted his mare in the Morgiana and that’s what happened.

Nemean Lion had a Long Walk entry. I wonder if he’s in here on the same basis as at Newcastle – to pick up the pieces in a potentially small field. His best ratings have come at around the 20f trip so connectionsl look a bit unlucky in having a good horse who excels at a ‘bad’ trip. He had an off day in The Stayers; they really ought to give him another bite at a three-miler just to see. Nowt to lose.

This looks a very poor renewal. Eight entered so far, but Alexei and Anzadam surely non-runners and the likes of Tripoli Flyer, Give It To Me Oj and Rubaud are roughly two stones short of CH material.
That leaves Celtic Dino at 8/1 EW as the logical choice considering his Welsh CH win.

If Sir Gino doesn’t win this convincingly then you,d worry about the champion , bupar the Mullins horse the rest are well exposed , I don’t mean to knock the champion winner but there’s been plenty luck there

More than happy to back Golden Ace.

I see Lee has taken Nemean Lion out – that’s two weekends in a row he has missed big races and he holds no other entries at the moment. I wonder if we will see him at Cheltenham on Trials Day?
