Can I also add to my last post that I also like Rhubarb and Ginger Preservatives by MacKays sold in my local Tesco.

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

School infants with Jam sandwiches or old people eat jam
    I’ll let you know
The infusion of cider does sound of interest though

The more I know the less I understand.

I’m not generally a fan of things that are too hot but there is a chilli farm in these parts that does some chilli jams and they are good, nice alternative to pickle/chutney with cheese.

Another very good thread from the blob of bloody good jam, and reading all the confiture experts that responded made me feel like I had been blackballed from a tea club.
I do a lot of shopping but I don’t think I have ever bought a jar of jam or marmalade. I tend to eat and enjoy jam when on a rare occurrence I dine out on a cream tea. I may now decide to buy a jar of marmalade which might be thick cut. I got a bit addicted to Marmite so decided to avoid the little black number. I am drinking M&S strong tea at the moment. It was £6.50.for 240 but matches up to PG and is a nice change.

A gamble endorsement remains a highly-treasured prize – many thanks.

I’ve acquired some marmalade on the recommendation of Jac – I shall be making further acquisitions based on other recommendations here in due course.

One jam nobody likes is a Traffic Jam, although it might be a good name if TRAFFIC and JAM merged.

“Can I also add to my last post that….”

Yes, by all means – no need to even ask, in fact, though the courtesy in doing so is appreciated.
