I will boldly say I think the wrong filly is favourite here as I can’t see past Trillium.

Beat Nunthorpe runner-up The Platinum Queen in really decent time in my book in the Flying Childers and is a moral certainty on pedigree to get the extra furlong (plus needed every yard of the five to win on Town Moor).

Meditate is a nice filly, and reverting to 6f may suit, but she wasn’t half pulverised by Tahiyra in the Moyglare.

However, tbf she was clear of the rest and the winner does look very good indeed.

Also can’t see past Trillium and nabbed a bit of 3/1 about her

Think meditate is a bit overrated myself and isn’t improving as fast as some others

And she looked to have a very hard race in the moyglare

With a clear run Trillium takes all the beating

    Another for Trillium here
She has her mother’s 2yo speed

I do think it makes sense to drop Meditate back to this distance
Should be a good race but Trillium will have a good target with Meditate seemingly happy to go forward

I liked what Trillium did last time but with her and Meditate only running 13 days ago i think I’ll just watch.

Ten declared, Trillium and Meditate now pretty much joint favourites.

Ill be laying trillium & meditate

Of the two id take tril, but swingalong will win if she breaks well, happy to lay the front two instead of backing swingalong though

Both the front two had hard races just thirteen days ago; Meditate was treading water at the end of the Moyglare, while Trillium was all out to catch The Platinum Queen at Donny.

I’d still prefer the Hannon filly of the two, as she didn’t finish her race out on her feet, but there may be value in seeking something which has had more time to recover from her exertions last time out.

Step forward Swingalong. Chezza won’t like this, but at 9-1 she’s outstanding each way value.

For those individuals lacking in moral fibre, I guess Swingalong might be the one for THAT sort of wager (if one can call it a wager, that is).

The accusation of LMF was dropped in the 1960s, Chezza.

    Move with the times, man.

    Not by me, it wasn’t.

Trillium looks a very nice horse, add me to the list. Should be favourite so the 9/4 and 5/2 on offer appeal muchly. Having said that, this race and the Middle Park have rarely ever been kind to me so there is some reticence to going big on her.
I’ll double her up with the Godolphin shorty in the first.

Trillium is very fast and very game, the point about the hard race last time is taken but I’m hopeful that her connections know what they are doing.

    Hannon

“It is quite a quick return but she handles her racing well and is a very relaxed horse at home so I don’t really have any concerns on that score.”

If the jockey can keep her settled in the first half of the race i just think trillium will have too much speed for the rest of them
