I’ll try Hidden Law, I know he’s not the biggest but I liked his two runs so far and I think the penny dropped a bit more at the business end of the race last time.
Put a little on for the Derby at 20s as well as if he is organised enough to go to Chester he can hopefully manage Epsom.

Might take a chance on Cadogan Place.

I did Hidden Law. Looks the right size for the turning course compared to some of the others that look bigger. Drawn well and a couple of runs under the belt. O’Brien’s looks good but his have needed a run so far so worth taking on perhaps

Aghhh…I had written a post about how fab he was- didn’t see what happened as the feed cut off shortly after the line, thankfully.

What a pity. Looked a really promising horse, winning that easily.

I’ve got a heart of stone but that has bought a tear to my eye. Heartbreaking after such a good run

    Heartbreakingly bad to see.

I backed him to win. Lovely turn of foot. Fine winner … then disaster. Utterly gutted!

Class from John Gosden, as usual.

How absolutely awful the horse had just ran a great race.

Just as we were thinking “there’s your Derby winner”. Absolute sickener.

What a horrible incident and as Gladiateur says racing owes John Gosden so much for the way he handles these situations.

Seen the whole incident. Just a mistep by the horse. Just goes to show how fragile horses are. Gutwrenching.

I clicked the off button as soon as the words “gone wrong” were uttered. Very sad.

Does anyone know if it was to do to with the strip of false grass just after the winning post that spectators drive across to access the course?
