Natalies Joy was once a good price but is skinny now.
Not having a bet myself but interested to see how San Donato performs after being behind Legends Of War last time out. Can he outrun his 74 RPR for that race?
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
June 23, 2018 at 14:31 #1358278I think natalie’s Joy looks very smart. She’s not much of a price here, but if
she’s as good as I hope I’ve take the 20/1 in the 1000 Guineas ante post betting.
Looking forward to seeing here hereJune 23, 2018 at 14:35 #1358279Well that was a bit disappointing
June 23, 2018 at 14:44 #1358281I should have added congratulations Arthur Kitt’s connections, it’s quite an
extraordinary story. She’s lucky to be alive after having to be revived
6 times when she was born. Must be an emotional day to all the connections,
hats off to themJune 23, 2018 at 14:50 #1358282Terrific story for Arthur Kitt, who nearly died as well after mum Ceiling Kitty passed away giving birth.
San Donato wouldn’t settle and ran with his cocked all the way. He started a run but earlier exuberance took its toll and he petered out.
Natalies Joy was rubbish. Hosed up last time in a fast time and was expected to win readily today. She never got involved at all, struggling all the way. That typifies Mark Johnston for me and you can almost set your watch that she’ll pop up somewhere later this season and probably stuff a hotpot into the bargain. Mr Bingo.
Enjoyed seeing Arthur Kitt as a foal with his foster mum. Great stuff.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
June 23, 2018 at 14:52 #1358283I wouldn’t rule her out of the Guineas yet BigG. Tracked pace at Goodwood, held up mid-div here – with more horses around her and ground is bordering on firm here… And sometimes when a two year old puts up an extremely good time performance it takes a longer time to recover and therefore doesn’t show it next time. If it were a case of not staying the trip that would’ve been more significant (I think grand-dam is Cheveley Park winner Blue Duster) but NJ was beaten a long way out there – nowt to do with distance. Steve always says Mark Johnstons can be a bit inconsistent (EDIT: He’s said it again in the above post) and may be he’s got a point too. Times don’t lie though, she’s far better than that.
Value Is EverythingJune 23, 2018 at 14:58 #1358285Cheers Ginge, maybe my dosh isn’t down the Suwanee just yet then. Fingers crossed she comes back
from this, she did look very smart at Goodwood.June 23, 2018 at 15:01 #1358286My money is down the proverbial, BigG; backed her today.
Value Is EverythingJune 23, 2018 at 15:39 #1358300Arthur Kitt is a colt Big G
