I thought this worth a thread. Offers will get increasingly widespread the closer the ‘madness’ comes.

First bookie madness, to my mind is Skybet’s 4/6 Tizzard to train the Gold Cup winner. I know my value bets posted here are seldom below 20/1, but this is superb value. Thistlecrack himself is 1/1 in places. Native River’s improving. I think Cue Card’s owners will want a Thistlecrack rematch and Tizz said recently that Alary worked with Thistlecrack and there wasn’t much in it. Reinforced that today by saying “he’s bloody good!” (Took some 33s EW).

I was looking for 14s Tizz to train the first three home. Sky have cut it to 12s and I can’t find a market elsewhere for it. Anyone know of any 14s on offer?

Yes zarkava, it’s a very good offer haha. They have done it the last 2 years and they generally do it on ITV races that are live on Saturdays aswell so don’t even have to wait until Cheltenham for this offer.
The offer is only available on each day of Cheltenham obviously not antepost.
The only thing I’m not 100% on is whether it’s 3/1 or 4/1 minimum odds. But still a very good offer.

The ones they do on Saturdays throughout the season you only get 1 x free bets but at Cheltenham it’s 3x free bets

Wow, that is an unbelievable offer. That’s effectively giving you 3 points more for your bet. You could get 16.7% about a 25% chance. Crazy offer, how have they not been killed by it so far? They’re just crying out to get smashed by that concession.

I guess betfair are hoping you then lose your free bets but yes it’s unbelievable offer and especially when most horses are 3/1 or higher

Why are Skybet holding this Tizzard to train the winner at 4/6? If all 4 run at current best odds, 1/1, 13/2, 20/1, 25/1, I make this bet somewhere between 2/5 and 4/11.

If Cue Card comes out, it’s still 1/2.

Thistlecrack is odds on now with most bookies – varying from 10/11 to two at 4/6
