Love me a silly related double or other multiple

Thought I’d make a thread for ideas

Anyone fancy a De Bromhead lost on seasonal reappearance e/w Yankee?

    Honeysuckle 8/1 ch
    A plus tard 10/1 gc
    Bob olinger 16/1 stayers
    Telmesomethingirl 14/1 mc

    Or a mullins mares double

    Brandy love MH/ADV mc 29/1

    Hendo hype hurdlers double
    Jet Powered/Luccia 34/1

As the season develops should get plenty of opportunities for related form doubles

If you want what I would call a real related contingency double how about Mighty Potter for the Turners and Galliard Du Mesnil for the NH Chase (if, that is, that’s his target) if you think the Drinmore form is strong?

Supreme form double: Jonbon (Arkle Chase)/Constitution Hill (Champion Hurdle) – 9/4.

Drinmore form double: Gaillard Du Mesnil (NH Chase)/Mighty Potter (Turners) – 23/1.

‘Going’ doubles make the most sense to me. L’Homme Presse with another soft ground horse (preferably on Friday, but Thursday acceptable) would be one. Nube Negra with a good ground horse is pretty obvious (Wednesday obviously best, Tuesday NB).

Was going to post that the Grand Annual is on Wednesday now and Third Time Lucki is 33/1 with PP/BF; but then saw how horrendous the price is on Nube Negra. I thought he was 25/1 (I got on at 33’s for the princely sum of £1.50) but he’s been shortened to 16/1. Probably something to look at again when the NRNB prices come out.

One to consider further down the line will be

Stateman to win the Irish champion hurdle with Honeysuckle for the mares hurdle

As she surely only goes to the mares if losing at Leopardstown

FF the fact HDB is already talking mares makes here most likely to go there ….bookies think so
