December 6, 2022 at 07:46 #1626007If you want what I would call a real related contingency double how about Mighty Potter for the Turners and Galliard Du Mesnil for the NH Chase (if, that is, that’s his target) if you think the Drinmore form is strong?

L’Homme Presse with another soft ground horse (preferably on Friday, but Thursday acceptable) would be one. Nube Negra with a good ground horse is pretty obvious (Wednesday obviously best, Tuesday NB).
December 16, 2022 at 20:55 #1627068Was going to post that the Grand Annual is on Wednesday now and Third Time Lucki is 33/1 with PP/BF; but then saw how horrendous the price is on Nube Negra. I thought he was 25/1 (I got on at 33’s for the princely sum of £1.50) but he’s been shortened to 16/1. Probably something to look at again when the NRNB prices come out.

Stateman to win the Irish champion hurdle with Honeysuckle for the mares hurdle
As she surely only goes to the mares if losing at Leopardstown
December 17, 2022 at 05:51 #1627103FF the fact HDB is already talking mares makes here most likely to go there ….bookies think so
