Well done Corm, took up the lead with 5 races to go and held on despite some late challengers with a few 33/1 winners and also paul with 24 point on the day finishing strongly.

ps If Grizzo had had his reserve in the last 50/1 winner he would have just snatched victory on the line.

Well, the say 4th is the worst place to finish!! Mind you, I was 43rd yesterday!!! Thank you Amicelli – I KNEW a German bred would win one of the races!!!!

I was split beween Knowhere and Neptune Collonges for the Gold Cup and put in the former, but putting in Nenuphar Collonges in place of Carruthers (original selection) in the Bartlett evened it up.

Excellent competition Johnny – really well done, and congratulations to Cormack – more fillet steak I guess!!!

Thought I’d had it yesterday when Max had Ballyfitz at 18/1 and I had him as my reserve. My best Cheltenham for many years and probably be many more before I have another as good.
