Looks a very good race this, with some exciting horses in there.
I had already earmarked Lidar as a horse to follow closely this season, along with Ghizao, so to see those 2 taking on eachother again, should make for a good race.
The Henderson team also seem to think a lot about General Miller and Cootehill is very well thought of at Twisters and Carl’s yard.
I have seen Lidar work on a few occasions and i think he could prove to be a very good horse, seems to be a natural and does things easily.

December 11, 2009 at 11:13 #263337Interesting that he’s willing to take on Ghizao again, but this time over hurdles, and could be a different proposition now going over them. I make Lidar the bet here.
December 11, 2009 at 12:40 #263351I backed Ghizao last out at a very generous price on the advice David Johnson during an ATR interview.
I know it was a bumper race that day, but he beat Lidar and the rest senseless and looks a real prospect. Unless his hurdling is a bit dodgy, I fail to see how Ghizao cannot win this race.
