Done these bets at start of week apart from Arkle bet after supreme
MONKFISH 17/2 Gold Cup enhanced price
Hot for RSA tomorrow except him to win there and replace Al Boum Photo as main Mullins gold Cup horse remember that horse be 10 next year.
Already won a Albert Bartlett has ideal mix 9f speed and staminaZAHNIYAIR 28/1 Champion hurdle enhanced
Nothing from supreme run in this race next year and this juvenile look the best in UK except him to prove it on Friday and can bridge gap between him and better hurdlers next year.
SHINSKIN 11/2 Champion chase
Looks perfect for race unbeaten over fence will be the one to beat next year we mot seen the best of him yet to.
BRAVESMANGAME 14/1 RSA Chase
Even if lose in Ballymore today still think be over fences come into his own and trainer mention him like Denman to
APPRECIATE IT 6/1 Arkle
This time last year put him up for Ballymore so he run in Marsh next year but way he won today I think 2m ideal trip over fences next year
March 17, 2021 at 09:23 #1530197I really like this angle and you’ve made some interesting points Darren.
I want to be with Dusart in the Arkle and My Drogo in the Marsh at this early stage but after looking again this morning i think Concertista at 40s for the Champion Hurdle is a bet. Peter Molony has been suggesting this morning Honeysuckle will go chasing and Willie will have any number of mares to tackle the mares’ hurdle. James Du Berlais is set to go novice chasing for the same connections. Saldier and Saint Roi haven’t lived up to expectations and i expect Concertista to be Willie’s CH horse. Her jumping is so slick and quick and she is better over 2m. We all know how deadly these mares are getting 7lb!

March 17, 2021 at 13:55 #1530302Any Monkfish bets for next years Gold Cup before he wins here?
March 17, 2021 at 13:59 #1530303Yes
March 17, 2021 at 14:20 #1530315I backed him for next year’s Gold Cup this morning. Looks like his price is unchanged, which is fair enough. He was workmanlike rather than impressive and one or two of his jumps were a bit iffy.
March 17, 2021 at 19:50 #1530467I’ve gone for Envoi Allen in next year’s GC. Monkfish was good, but lacked that wow factor and made some fairly fiddly jumps.
Also went for Shishkin in the Champion Chase, because he’s the best 2m chaser since The MEGABEAST.

So don't run, just like the others always do
March 17, 2021 at 23:28 #1530524Ladbrokes went 20/1 Bravesmangame for RSA chase after loss today no shame in run today
March 18, 2021 at 02:02 #1530531Had both monkfish and envoi to win this year and the gold cup in 2022 at 14/1 a few weeks back
Hopefully envoi does the job tomorrow
Then I’m on them dutched as a 13/2 shot
March 19, 2021 at 14:30 #1531048I’m not betting too many Antepost this year (like a broken record), but Galvin and Escaria Ten will be high on the lists.
I’ll probably bet both for The Cross Country, but don’t think either would be out of place in Graded Company, so I’ll cover them where I can.
I’ve only bet two so far, both for National Hunt Chase.
Stattler is risky, as he’s about to run, and not 100% on his stamina, but took 33’s.
Also bet Pure Genius at 100’s.
Also looking at Gars De Sceaux and Magic Tricks for that race, so could be messy.
Time To Get Up is another interesting one for next year, as is Grand Paradis.

Time To Get UpMarch 19, 2021 at 19:03 #1531205I did the Arkle/Champion Chase double on Shishkin 33’s, 11’s, 8’s
Even had a 100/1 ticket along with Envoi Allen in the Marsh was gutted when he fell
Also on the Monkfish RSA/Gold Cup double at 11’s and 8’s off the top of my head
got beat on Envoi Allen double Marsh/Gold CupBlackbeard to conquer the World
March 19, 2021 at 19:21 #1531211It’s rare I have a bet this early but one 50/1 shot stands out to me that didn’t run this week: Gentlemansgame for the 3m novice chase. He looked a stayer when second to Gaillard Du Mesnil at Leopardstown and Mouse Morris has said he will be a better horse over fences. That was a huge effort on just his second start under rules, and he’ll probably be 20/1 when he wins his beginner’s chase in the autumn.
March 19, 2021 at 21:12 #1531264Vtc I can Galvin getting a very tiger roll like prep next season ending with cross country then GN
March 19, 2021 at 21:49 #1531286Just me or are most of the prices for next year absolutely horrendous
March 25, 2021 at 19:33 #1532383For the Gold I took 12-1 Monkfish and also too 16-1 Envoi Allen, and Galopin Des Champs 33-1 ew for the old rsa

March 28, 2021 at 11:06 #1533102Booked my tickets on Friday for the Weds/Thu/Fri next year. Prices seem far too short on many races at the moment.
March 28, 2021 at 16:27 #1533149My WPM/Kenny Alexander antepost didn’t go so well this year but nothing daunted
