I don’t know about your other one, Rocky, but I’m a tiny bit jealous of you getting the 16s.
16s still available with sunbets
I’m not jealous enough that I’ll back anything in this race yet!
February 12, 2017 at 14:59 #1287090I was happy with her run tbh. Made a bad mistake and I was impressed with how she came back from that. Finds of the bridle, would have been within 5 lengths at the finish Imo,

Won’t win though.
Tbh my emoticon was more directed at me saying I hadn’t backed anything in this race yet.

February 13, 2017 at 19:36 #1287269An impressive book VTC! Hope you have at least a few winners there! Good thing about the prices you’ve taken is you only don’t need 20 winners there to be laughing
February 13, 2017 at 19:41 #1287273Yeah Zark, to be honest, that’s exactly what I’m doing, just adding runners. Everybody’s different, but when I set out with my books, it’s just to go £0.01 green, and, basically what I’ll have, is a free bet on the horses I actually fancied. Anything above that is always a bonus (and it don’t happen too often lol) Turns out this year, I’ve made a bit more than that £0.01, so with a few quid to spend, I thought I would have a few of the rags running for me for free, just in case. To be honest, in the case of Clondaw Warrior, I’ve actually had a wee bit more on, as his recent poor form is all at 3 miles, and he does have some decent runs at the minimum trip, including The Galway Hurdle.
I’ve did the same with The Gold Cup this year, well ahead, so covered as many as I could.
I really like ADO, and couldn’t possibly be negative about him. I actually put him in AP Lucky 31 last spring, but the rest haven’t made it.
I really like Garde La Victoire too, and I now have him as the best current each way of the festival…….and he’s still 33’s.
February 13, 2017 at 19:56 #1287275Thanks for that Ben I’ll probably not have a winner now, as used up my luck Ante-Post (and luck plays a massive part) but very happy to be ahead before a ball is kicked, which makes a nice change.
February 13, 2017 at 20:05 #1287276You guys convinced me of Garde la Victoire too. Gone for him at 14/1 EW NRNB – without Douvan at Betfair.
February 14, 2017 at 21:31 #1287432Good man DB and best of luck, I think he’ll be ridden for a place, like the same connections did with Wishfull Thinking when he had to contend with Sprinter & Sizing Europe. I’m “fairly” confident.

More of That Gold Cup/Grand National Double 500-1Great stuff VTC. Credit where it’s due – you’ve got some crackers in there such as the NR double.
May have to join you with GLV who I had backed last year and was one of my big guns when beaten last time around. May play in the marker without the favourite each way.
Unfortunately you’ve missed the RSA winner out of course who we know wins without coming off the bridle

Exactly. We are in that no man’s land now where it’s within a month from starting so it’s too far off to be getting uber excited but at the same time most AP bets are done and dusted, so not much to discuss
