January 30, 2015 at 09:29 #503386My selections so far and reasons:
Supreme: l’ami serge 5/1 – always improving still more improvement to come on top of what is already the best form in the race. Also hendo seems to think he will be even better on good ground.
Champion hurdle: Faugheen 5/2 in November so very happy with that price now. Could be special. Also recently have done jezki at 6/1 seems the value now. Loves Cheltenham and good ground almost guaranteed a place in my eyes.
Arkle: Josses Hill 12/1 again bet this in November. Again happy with the price and the fact he is the only horse left against un de sceaux that hasn’t been exposed to a bad run. Albeit, has shown bad jumping lol. He is a class act and if his jumping was to improve he would give the Fav a real race might even get ruby to shake the reigns haha. Also geraghty has said he is very special and that the best is still to come which we will see maybe his Saturday.
Mares hurdle: Annie power 6/4 plain and simple if she goes for this she wins.
Neptune: no idea – need some help guys ?
Queen mother: sprinter scare 7/2 – people are right when they say he isn’t the same horse but they are forgetting that this horse only need to be about 85% to win this, especially that sire de grugy is back from a long layoff (also I think last years queen mother was very poor). This horse is a crazy price still at 11/4. NAP
Triumph: Hargam 14/1 and Bristol de Mai 8/1- the fav in my eyes is way too short as his form is joint best I believe so there’s no value. From just before hargams first race it was said he will be a better horse on good ground and I’ve been impressed with both of his runs on soft. Improving for the first run. And if he does prefer good ground could be well in the mix.
Gold Cup: no idea ?

Gambling Only Pays When You're Winning
February 2, 2015 at 05:37 #503838One more for me. Champion Hurdle:
Irving E/W 40/1.
Disappointed at the Festival last year and has disappointed since. However he does have ability and he could be the forgotten horse. He’s very lightly raced and we don’t really know how good he is yet. Sometimes the ground can be quick on Champion Hurdle day and this horse is by Singspiel who loved fast ground on the flat. IF the ground does come up lively I don’t think it would suit Hurricane Fly or The New One so there wouldn’t be too many at the top of the market that would have conditions ideally to suit. Jezki is nothing exceptional, Faugheen might be. It’s worth an each way bet at the price.

You didn’t Gord, I’d done it before I realised you’d backed it.
If only Stan James hadn’t closed my account would’ve had 66/1.
Guess who else I’ve just backed for the race?Taquin De Seuil 33/1 BOG, NRNB
Great minds think alike.
