Not my usual race to bet in this, but a couple jumping out…..

I think last years winner Addeybb looks a fair price at 8’s, got a couple of engagements this weekend, and I can see that 8’s disappearing fast.

That looks the sensible call to me, but for all it seems ridiculous, I’m having an early go on my old pal Euchen Glen. Regardless of how he runs on Saturday at Ayr, I honestly don’t think he’d disgrace himself here, and I’m happy to throw a few quid his way. Obviously hoping it cuts up a bit, which isn’t out of the question, so at 66’s, and with a bit of confidence that he’ll actually run here, he’s my early bet.

I’ll be sorely tempted to give Al Aasy a final chance here if its soft or worse. I have a working hypothesis (gut feeling!?) that a red-hot G1 pace over 10f to aim at could bring about a fair chunk of improvement for this nutcase. If he gets jocked up, I’ll get on at 25’s.

Had a look on Oddschecker and rather shocked to see not only that Adayar is quoted but is second favourite for this…….considering the deep ground was blamed in the Arc, surely Ascot is going to need to dry out rather a lot to suit him.
Mishriff has won on heavy but was beaten a long way in this last year on soft ground and most of his recent best form has been on a quicker surface, Addeybb is a safe choice if the ground is soft but he is a single digit price.
If I had to look at a bigger priced horse then (assuming he runs) Sealiway makes appeal at 16s – I don’t think he got home in the Arc and it was also his first run back since being beaten less than 2L by St Mark’s Basilica in French Derby in June, so a drop back to 10F looks ideal and he has winning form on good to soft and heavy ground.

I think you’re right about Al Aasy TTC but I don’t see him getting a red hot pace to aim at mainly because these G1 middle distance races are for the most part small field affairs with no recognised or habitual front runners. The exception to that here might be if they let Adayar take his chance and bowl along with stamina assured maybe.

Tinman – Adayar declared and jocked up, and Coolmore potentially running three. I am hoping this may mean a hot pace. So I’ve got my feet wet. Missed the 25’s now, but:

Mishriff was beaten by Adayar over 12f by 1.75 lengths, back down to his favourite 10f he is 7lb better off. Addeybb likes bottomless conditions to show his best when others don’t like it, which he probably won’t get here.

I’m not going to desert Adayar , the only worry is has anyone he Arc left a mark ( same worry with snowfall in fillies race ) from e.w Jesus Bolshoi ballet is a huge price , he def hasn’t delivered what was promised but at the prices I’ve got to play , he shouldn’t be as big

    Win Adayar
