Quote: from reet hard on 7:52 pm on Jan. 18, 2007[br]Hardy Eustace has an entry in the World Hurdle this year, which is probably indicative of his trainer’s view of the horse’s chance in the Champion.
He had that the year he won the champion too…i backed him antepost at the time.

January 18, 2007 at 21:00 #35950I thought the trainer of HE seemed quite bullish this year actually. Wouldn’t be worried about the World Hurdle entry but I just look at last years race and ask how it will beat Macs Joy and Brave Inca this year?

I think I will go against the "obvious" Irish who I think, with the majority of them, have had their chance and victories.
I am still siding with my pre-season choice, NOBLE REQUEST, I cannot see it out of the first 3, and the run in the Tote Trophy will be a big indicator as he will be carrying top weight.
There was absolutely nothing wrong with ACAMBO’s last victory and I was very impressed with it’s performance at Haydock last year [Swinton]. This animal could be actually improving, again The Tote will give us more information.
A bold display from the above two could make their current Betfarce trading mark of around 40s very generous indeed. ;)
Tote gold trophy thread is next door ;)
January 18, 2007 at 21:58 #35952I really feel that Harchibald will have a say in the Champion this year. I know that he was fancied to run a big race in newcastle but had a slight setback. I reckon he is Meades best of the 4 entered and at 16/1 is great value. My mate has a horse in training with Noel Meade and he tells me that Carberry will ride this fella so is there value in this fella???
January 18, 2007 at 22:20 #35953Asians demo job at Aintree was an outstanding piece of form last season
Big help though when all the opposition run their gonads off at Cheltenham and you go to Aintree from Cheltenham fresh as a daisy after falling at 4th fence
