Well done everyone on, fair play to Marine Nationale, I was snotty about his jumping all year.March 12, 2025 at 16:10 #1723127Simply destroyed them. Well done winners….
March 12, 2025 at 16:11 #1723128WD winners
Jonbon was on the back foot from the get go due to the standing start.
Like Shishkin, he’s a 3 miler all day for me.
March 12, 2025 at 16:11 #1723130The graveyard for odds on favs strikes again. Very poignant winner. Hopefully Quillixios is ok.
March 12, 2025 at 16:11 #1723131Can’t remember a Cheltenham Festival with as many high profile jumping hiccups. And we are only half way through.
March 12, 2025 at 16:13 #1723132Class act , he’d have beaten Jonbon even without his mistake , it was all about today and he delivered …. I’m quids in but honestly it’s not about money but the enjoyment of seeing that
March 12, 2025 at 16:14 #1723133GM he’s not a 3 miler , he’s a 2 miler who makes mistakes
March 12, 2025 at 16:14 #1723134I wonder if the sudden change in ground has made a difference re the jumping? Been racing on winter ground and the past few festivals have stayed wet but its relatively quick this year. Always felt that they go quicker on quick ground, sometimes too quick for their own good.
March 12, 2025 at 16:19 #1723135Wanted to give a shout out to Captain Guinness. Probably a fortunate winner last year i grant you but hes turned up every year and to hit the frame in 3 successive champion chases is some going.
