asset ewOctober 17, 2009 at 03:32 #253759Donativum stayed on nicely after pulling quite hard last time at HQ (mile), which you don’t see very often.
This would at least suggest to me that the horse is finally coming to himself after a long miserable season, where he’s not shown any appetite at all on all but his last run – and not totally unexpected either – as his finest hour came around this time last year.
I hope to see Durcan pop him out and make plenty of use of him this time. And I must say I’m really confident of a big run at the very least….and a long overdue return on this swine.
October 17, 2009 at 13:07 #253794Watched Main Aim destroy an average John of Gaunt field back in May. Stoute’s colt has his ideal conditions today (7f, G2, good to firm). Expect a punt. There are excuses for his runs since: Hated Goodwood and was unable to quicken in the scandalous Haydock Betfred Sprint Cup swamp – his pilot was noticeably easy on him. 13/2 is a lovely price.

October 17, 2009 at 17:08 #253865Grrrr backed Ouqba and he should have won.
