Star Of Orion 118Next rated is 115, and it’s very tight down the line, but happy to take those three against the field. Conditions look spot on for Tomfre.
Was going to sit this out, as I can see The Balmoral as being priority for Escobar, but got to cover him, while I can see a big run from Star of Orion
Escobar 10’s
Star of Orion 11’sPleased with Symbolize’s run which gave me a points return for the each-way in the Handicap Competition. Had four of the first 5 in my top 5 on my ratings thread so pleased that I had the contest covered. However, there may be a problem judging the form of this one and I’m half prepared to have some inflated figures going forward as the horses on the far side were so dominant. Wonder if the handicapper might split the difference between second and third for the ‘measure’, but I’ll put a mental question mark against the form.
I can see the winner taking a fair hike in the weights rob but he basically only had Symbolize to beat with the way the race panned out. Goes into my notebook with a warning next to him does Aldaary and one to take on next time at whats likely to be prohibitive odds. If I was handicapping Symbolize he would be staying where he is – he’s run his race for me and has been beaten off this sort of mark several times this season already. He’s a very hard horse to win with generally.
