    2.55 Chepstow

    Gungadu

Clearly has ability but is better over fences.
Today has prep race written all over it put back over the smaller obstacles. Possibly to freshen him up before tackling bigger chasing targets later in the season
The trainers record suggests horse will need this run and a big ask over 3 miles at Chepstow after a significant break.
Better with some dig in the ground, its Good at Chepstow today.
A fit Lyes Green will give him plenty of opposition.

    3-30 Lingfield

    Domenico

An ageing, exposed hurdler on the downgrade, this is his level these days.
Trainer has a shocking record with fancied hurdlers coming back after around 2 weeks off.
A small field and consequent lack of pace will be against a horse with a staying on running style.
2 younger less exposed rivals, Chico Time and Beaufort have their conditions and will give Domenico plenty to do.

    Domenico currently 2/1…way too short…lay.
