    The popular little mare Cannon Fodder has sadly died from the dreaded colic. She always tried her best in all of her races and was a once in a lifetime horse for her owners.
    RIP Cannon Fodder
    You will always be remembered fondly.

    Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...

    The gamest of the game, the bravest, toughest most likeable little pony of a mare. Only 9 years old. I thought she’d be around forever. If ever a horse deserved a good retirement it was her. Heartbreaking. RIP little one.

    That’s dreadful news, I loved Cannon Fodder. She’d always put her head down and scrap for it, no matter whether she was lumping a big weight around one of the smaller tracks or up against Vroum Vroum Mag in a Graded race.

    She must have been a wonderful mare to own. It’s so sad we’ll never see any little Fodderlets on the track.
