Hello….. I had a day AWOL today, but the way this is going I probably saved a bit of money….. just done a quick calculation and this thread appears to be about 13pts down after 12 days, which is nothing to cry about, but it’s annoying at the start of a new idea. New systems usually make a profit in the first couple of weeks and then they deteriorate, this has hit the proverbial poo pit from Day 1, now we gotta see if we can emerge with a garland of roses around our necks.
I had a few hours to furkle through this system, I didn’t like the amount of horses being selected… in one of the races we had 4 selections, I trimmed it down to two and cut out a winner at 18.00’s, but such is life. I have modified the system to give us fewer bets, so the possibility is that we may go days without a bet, we just gotta suck it and see… anything for a laugh….

Good morning ladies….. we have a little tempter today, Betfair are quoting 70.00 at present, but I’m interested in the PLACE at 8.20. The horse is Absolute Angel at Redcar and although it was unplaced on both occasions, I don’t think that those runs were bad enough to be giving those odds… gotta be a couple of pennies going on that one…

What a load of old doodah that turned out to be….. along with my form reading…. I thought that was “nailed on” for a place, so wrong for that pile of poop.
I was wondering if Mr Betfair was going to relinquish his grip on my plums, he’s got such a tight grip on them that he’s making my eyes water….. I would go so far as to say that the plums are now raisins….

The vice is getting ever tighter and pips are starting to be squeezed out of this particular apple, but I’ll give it another couple of days before pulling the plug. The loss is not too damaging at present, but it is disheartening, so I’ll see how it goes over the weekend…. up to and including yesterday we were (- 19pts), a couple of winners required pretty rapid….
