    Can I ask an idiot boy question? Unless I’e read them wrong,all the rules quoted above about reserving names apply to horses registered in GB. Surely Camelot was registered in Ireland. Are the rules different there?

    Good question – the answer is that all names in Ireland are reserved/registered through Weatherby’s in the UK.
