    Entries…………

    https://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing/ante-post-racing/flat/bet365-cambridgeshire/winner

First two I was drawn to were Cicero’s Gift and Midnight Gun.

Cicero’s is a horse I really like, but has other entries, and fairly big weight here. Midnight Gun at 25’s looks ok, and if he had no issues after The Lincoln, then this might just be what’s he’s been kept for

No bet for now though, as I also really like the big outsiders, Dain Ma Nut In, and Father of Jazz. I’ll maybe consider Dain Ma Nut In before he runs at York, while of o seen an entry in next week or two for Father of Jazz, I’d maybe consider him at crazy odds

    No bet yet

    Edit

Added Dain Ma Nut In, for all any penalty will make things a lot tougher

Dain Ma Nut In 150’s EW

I thought that Point of Contact ran respectably yesterday. I’ve had a bet on him at 33-1

    CROWN OF OAKS 16/1

Horse I like a lot and with a lot of potential to be a group horse next year

Boiling Point – 50/1 EW (Paddy Power)

Karl Burke’s horses are flying at the moment and Boiling Point ran a cracker behind King Of Cities at York on Saturday.

Quite a few bookies quoting 25/1 and amazingly Paddy’s have him at 50’s so I used my free bet and got on quick. B-) Jac

Midnight Gun added. Dain Ma Nut In unlikely to go, as running Thursday, and can’t cash out as with Unibet. Only a smaller early bet, but I’d cash out if I could. Hopefully he wins tomorrow, so I can at least lay stake off.

Early win only bet for me

    Westridge 13/1 (boosted)

Seems to fit a lot of the recent trends for winners of this; obviously dont know the draw yet though OR even if it runs!

Did a big price one in this, each way, a few weeks back and forgot to post, so as the price has collapsed i wont put it up in here.

Mike, you’ll have to change your darts and arrows. They keep landing on the first or second favourite, every single time

It’s two less fancied runners for me. Silver Sword 66-1 each way 6 plcs, and Urban Lion 33-1 win

Real Gain ran really well at Goodwood and looks
primed for a big run in this. In form, trainer in form and what looks like a good draw, what could possibly go wrong? 18s Ew with Ladbrokes including boost.

We don’t know who will be 1st and 2nd favourite yet, there’s still 2 days to go :o)

    Fifth Column plus points…

    – 2025 record on good ground or quicker is 1171, with the 7th being drawn on the wrong side (and winning his side)

    – has course winning form

    – potentially well drawn in 18

    – not carrying a ton of weight

    – Gosden has won this race twice with 3 year olds in the last 10 years

    – Buick on top

Age stats seem to point to 4 to 6 year olds.
Winning before, over 1m 2f, is quite strong, as well.

The old formula for this race was a Distance Winner with recent winning form. Only four distance winners in the line up and the two best are Tribal Chief and Mr Swivell. Stretch the rules a tad for Marhaba Ghayyaith and there are my three against the field.
