Did anyone else know that apparently Buveur D’Air bleeds. I must have missed it and I still cannot any reference into him bleeding but on this weeks Final Furlong podcast Emmet Kennedy stated that he bleeds.
I have clearly missed it or is this a surprise to other people on here.
I await your repliesJanuary 9, 2019 at 14:25 #1391913Buveur D’air or Might Bite? Don’t remember hearing it was BDA.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 9, 2019 at 14:31 #1391914Nah, when he said he bleeds what he meant was he’s not untouchable and that he is beatable. He meant it figuratively, not literally
January 9, 2019 at 16:06 #1391919That makes sense but I think a horse racing journo should avoid that particular analogy! Maybe they should just stick to Giggi’s Samcro Life of Brian inspired description…

January 9, 2019 at 17:03 #1391931Many thanks for clearing that up and yes you are right he should be careful how he says things. I have never heard anyone say that in that meaning. Maybe it’s an Irish thing.
January 9, 2019 at 17:17 #1391933Merchant of Venice reference? Although in a sort of “opposite” sense.
