He doesn’t do himself any favours, does he? I don’t think he realises how much his interviews are being ridiculed.
OK, he is polite and well spoken and generous with his time. The problem is he seldom says anything worth hearing, occasionally talks nonsense and is rarely challenged by a sycophantic media.
One of his better interviews was with Lydia Hislop at Newmarket where she asked him to explain his statement that City Of Troy was the best he had trained when the ratings say otherwise. At least he was made to explain his statement.
