October 31, 2022 at 20:28 #1621178My biggest dilemma, Ben, is what time to get my King Prawn Pathia and pilau rice delivered – it’s non-stop televised racing action from noon to gone 10pm!

You will no doubt ponder “what on earth was I thinking ordering all this food?!” but will invariably make the same mistake in a few months time when you want to treat yourself again.
It aint called the sport of Kings for nothing!
October 31, 2022 at 22:12 #1621206Ben, I’m 59, not 30, I’m on a different metabolism planet from you.
I only have to do much as look at a popadom and I put on a stone.
Even treating myself to a curry I’m facing a week of dieting afterwards.
It sucks – when I was your age I was eating the entire F-ing menu.
Anyway, come on Flightline!

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"November 1, 2022 at 13:29 #1621249I’ll be there soon enough too mate! I’m already starting to feel old lol, in the winter ankles get all stiff achey and I can’t drink any more without taking a trip to the toilet after every pint!
But indeed, come on Flightline! If he puts up another impressive performances it will be hard to argue that he’s not one of, if not the best American dirt horse there has ever been!
November 5, 2022 at 09:33 #1621671What can go wrong here for flightline?
November 5, 2022 at 09:41 #1621674Hills are 6-4 that Flightline wins by over 5 lengths. 😳
November 5, 2022 at 09:43 #1621676I’m preferring the 5/4 for four lengths Glad.
I’m that little bit nervy on this one and this is surely the toughest test so far.November 5, 2022 at 09:48 #1621679He’s at least a stone better than this lot, Sam. Any horse can have an off day, of course, but on all known form he’s going to annihilate them.
November 5, 2022 at 09:51 #1621680Im in my 60s and my metabolisn still strong. Sorry to piss abnybody off. Spoons breakfeast and chippy tea saturday treat. Small meals for a few days mind you and plenty excercise after that though.
November 5, 2022 at 09:53 #1621681I’m going for it and it may well uncharacteristically be my only( racing) bet of the day.
My other angle is to hunt out a 20/1 winner (I haven’t seen one yet! ) and put it in a win double with flightline at sp.November 5, 2022 at 10:24 #1621692No I cannot find that elusive big priced winner to couple with him. So it’s money down on Flightline to win by four lengths plus @ 5/4. No other bet.
Can another horse on magic carrots get close to him? Hopefully not.
On all form shown this horse should bolt up and 5/4 at the distance looks fair.
I note Bob Baffert is running in this too……November 5, 2022 at 11:07 #1621704It would take an extraordinary effort, like running this race in sub-two minutes, by another runner in this race to even come close of beating Flightline. However, no other runner has ever run this fast over 10F. But this is one of the biggest 10F dirt races on the planet so they’ll all will be going for it all out, and anything can happen…
Gladiateur, for how long have Hills offered these odds? Or are they recent based on the current weather forecast?
At a cursory glance, 6-4 that Flightline wins by over 5 lengths appears good value relative to his current market odds of 3-5 for a straight win even thought he’s won every race by no less than 6 lengths!
One second is equivalent to about five lengths over a standard surface. But some rain and strong winds are forecast. So they could be hoping that the weather becomes the wild card here and alter the conditions to the extent of slowing the speed and becoming the “equalizer”.November 5, 2022 at 11:53 #1621718It was a price boost; only saw it this morning.
November 5, 2022 at 12:04 #1621723was trying to paste a copy of the form for this race, unfortunately not working
