I’ve looked back at the form of all the winning horses and there is legitimate and clear reasoning as to why they would win their respective races. I’m annoyed that I didn’t spot a few of them myself.

I wonder if there’s any chance World Approval will come on over for next year’s Queen Anne?

Could you imagine the incredulity if Winx came over only to get beaten by World Approval.

    Top Class winner there

Brave run from Lancaster Bomber to finish second for the fith time in his career in a G1

Second in The Dewhurst, Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf, St. James Palace, Woodbine Mile & Breeders Cup Mile.

Might get a bit of recognition as a proper Group One horse now from people

I love the Bomber, just wish Ballydoyle would stop treating him as Churchill’s pacemaker. With a proper race plan next year he could win some nice G1 races.

Well done winners so far. Buick’s ride was fine one on that winner and Appleby was tellingly bullish beforehand.

I’m giving Churchill one more chance. I think he’s considerably better than he’s shown for most of the season.

I can’t find betting for next year’s Queen Anne but I’d imagine it’d be something like 6/4 Winx, 8/1 World Approval (should connections hint at it) at the moment. I can’t think of a British horse who could be priced up.

Barney Roy wins the Queen Anne.
The Americans don’t like running straight a complete different world of difference the two tracks and as good as he was today I’d want 8/1 without Winx. Ribchester ran well enough considering the many negatives against him I thought.

You know it’s all ****** when that fraud Barzalona is winning these big races.

Cliffs of Moher never travelling. Seventh Heaven flying late on. Highland Reel not at his best, deserves his retirement!

Talismanic made sense. Good draw. Good odds, cause only 3rd in the Gr.2 Foy, but that was easily a Gr.1 quality race with very strong form, considering Cloth of Stars then finished 2nd and Dschingis Secret finished 6th in the Arc. Especially keeping in mind how much CoS came on for the Arc for Fabre.

Talismanic reminded me of Subotica. Didn’t back him, though.

Personally I think World Approval is going to prove mightily hard to beat in the Mile and have put him in a treble with Lady Aurelia and Gun Runner which worked out at 18/1.

    y.

Lady Aurelia you let me down, darn it.

It was an exciting race though and I think the winner’s very, very good.

Shame about Churchill – he didn’t deserve to end his career like that.

Neither did Arrogate. Would you argue that their trainers have let them down, somewhat?

Well done to all winning tickets, didn’t get it right much, but enough to have made a profit. Good racing. Gun Runner to good for the rest.

    Best Wishes
