Just one for me ROLY POLY in the Breeders Cup Mile.
I watched her power away from Persuasive in the Sun Chariot at Newmarket and then Persuasive paid her a massive compliment by beating Ribchester and Churchill the QE11 at Ascot.
Roly Poly may be small but she has a big heart and can beat the boys on Saturday night. JacRoly Poly 13/2 Breeders Cup Mile
Not to be confused with oddscheckers Roly Roly trading at 11/2

Oddschecker had several horses quoted three times for the same race due to spelling/letter spacing errors and preference suffixes. Very messy and confusing.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
November 1, 2017 at 10:07 #1324392Agreed MoM. Think she’ll probably go off odds on. 11/8 is an unbelievable price, with Sportsbook by the way.
Paddy Power were offering 11/8 NRNB last night.
For what it’s worth, I’ve also backed:
– September @ 6/1 (how could innit back my filly on American fast ground)
– Rhododendron @ 3/1 (think he American conditions and ground will suit)
– Ulysses @ 11/4 (simply think he will win)
– Masar @ 6/1 (small bet)
– Ribchester @ 10/3 (small bet)
– Bolt Doro @ 11/10 (should be odds on like Lady A. Reckon this fella is the next American superstar)
– Mind Your Biscuits @ 8/1 (vibes have been good and I have always thought he’s got a race like this in him)
– Arrogate @ 5/2 (given him one last chance to come good. If he’s back to his previous good self, he’d be odds on)All NRNB
Think the English horses will have an excellent year, hence why I have so many bets this time around.
Particularly like two of my American bets though in Bolt Doro and Lady A both at odds against. Both will go off odds on and both should be far too good.
Absolutely delighted with these prices.
Had my final breeders cup bets now and am left in these positions:
1) Juvenile Fillies’ Turf – September @ 6/1
2) Dirt Mile – Accelerate @ 9/2
3) Juvenile Turf – Masar @ 6/1
4) Distaff – Stellar Wind @ 2/1
5) Juvenile Fillies – Moonshine Memories @ 5/2
6) Turf Sprint – Lady Aurelia (NAP) @ 11/8
7) Fillies & Mares Sprint – Unique Bella @ 11/8
8) Fillies & Mares Turf – Rhododendron @ 3/1
9) Sprint – Mind Your Biscuits @ 8/1
10) Mile – Ribchester @ 10/3
11) Juvenile – Bolt Doro (nb) @ 11/10
12) Turf – Ulysses @ 11/4
13) Classic – Arrogate @ 5/2
What we think folks? It’s not a meeting for big priced winners in my opinion. This looks full of good things.
Lady A and Bolt Doro both at odds against are two fantastic bets in my opinion. Can definetely see Ulysses beating Highland reel too.

Famous last words MoM.. Best of luck though you have some nice prices.
November 1, 2017 at 15:46 #1324443World approval will take all the beating but roly poly ew looks a cracking bet. September would be my tip of the meeting. Gun runner I’d side with in the classic as looks uncomplicated. Churchill has very little chance and seems a strange one, war decree far more likely to place. Wish the lads had put us navy flag in the turf race as going on the dirt is a complete shot in the dark. Highland reel will take all the beating especially on the tight bends and I can see a repeat of last year with horses bearing down on him and there being little in it on the end.
Rhodedendren was my banker but the draw makes it a big ask. I’d be with james garfield and hope marsha does the business in what looks an awesome sprint. Will get the beers in and will love every minute of the weekend. I I predict five winners for Europe, 3 of which for the genius that is aob.November 1, 2017 at 16:04 #1324445Looks like being a long evening on Saturday, cannot wait. Buds check, Hot Dogs check & Tub of Ice Cream check
Two races before the main events also with European interests
Certainly better than strictly come dancing
November 1, 2017 at 16:34 #1324450I’m sorry Jac but I can’t see Roly Poly winning from where she’s drawn given how she needs to be ridden prominently.
November 1, 2017 at 16:35 #1324451Haven’t you had enough of him already Charles?
The rumour doing the rounds is that they have renamed the colt to:-
CLIFF HORSE MOHER
Good luck with him and your others though.
Well Steve, this will be a return to a trip I think he needs and the first time he’s going to get properly quick ground. Clutching at straws I know but I can’t decide between the top two in the betting and think Cliffs will be ridden to come late off a hard pace set by Moore.[/quote]
November 1, 2017 at 16:43 #1324453The horse of the meeting is surely Lady Aurelia.
As of today Oddschecker have her 6/5 for the Sprint, 11/10 for The Turf (Ahead of Highland Reel) AND Evens for the Juvenile Fillies
That’s a mighty tall order, not to mention an impossible one.
Odds Pecker more like, with all the balls-ups.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
November 1, 2017 at 18:02 #1324456Does anyone know why the Americans seem so obsessed with Marsha? She’s the most mentioned European horse I’ve seen on social media, and when I’ve watched Racing UK previews she’s the one the Americans seem most excited about? Is it just because it’s Sir Mark’s first runner, or is it the fact she beat Lady Aurelia?
November 1, 2017 at 18:05 #1324458Three main best so far. I am sure I will have more but these three are my main ones and if they win I show a large profit LOL
Juvenile Fillies SIGNIFICANT FORM 10/1
Dirt Mile ACCELERATE 9./2
Fillies and Mares LADY ELI 9/4I really fancy the first one and I think she is a huge price!! I know Chad brown has two in it but his record in this race is pretty good and this gal is unlucky not to have an unblemished record!!
November 1, 2017 at 18:33 #1324463My main three bets for the meeting ( following extensive study ) are Drefong , Gun Runner , and my nap of the entire meeting – Bolt Doro , the proverbial flying machine .
Good luck to everyone with their bets .

November 1, 2017 at 18:43 #1324466I’m sorry Jac but I can’t see Roly Poly winning from where she’s drawn given how she needs to be ridden prominently.
To be honest Charles I forgot to take the draw into account so that is a worry. However,my bet is cast and I’ll keep everything crossed that Ryan Moore does what he did in the Sun Chariot when she was fast away and crossed to the favoured stands rail. Her times over the mile will stand her in good stead and I still think she’ll take all the beating.
I’ll be rushing back from Newmarket to see if I can find where to watch this as I don’t have Racing UK
Enjoy a great couples of days racing and good luck.. Jac

Have you been watching Racing UK? Rachel Candelora was very bullish that Gun Runner wouldn’t stay a truly ran 10 furlongs, even put him up as her lay of the meeting.

Bolt Doro is the biggest certainty of the meeting.
Absolute monster of a Juvenile
