Looking at the betting for the King George VI Queen Elizabeth II stakes sees some horses you would expect to be in the betting listed. However NetBet and 10 Bet have managed to sneak several into their list who seem to be rather unlikely candidates.
Postponed 11/4
Vautour 3/1
Cue Card 7/2
Douvan 6/1
Coneygree 8/1
Wings Of Desire 8/1
Found 15/2
Exosphere 10/1And so it goes on down their lists, with even Don Poli and Smad Place quoted for this mile and a half flat race.
Somebody should be having serious words with these clowns, as this is making a mockery of the profession and bordering on bringing the game into disrepute.
What sort of numpties are they employing?
“And here comes Smad Place with a ratting turn of foot to nail Don Poli on the line and Vautour just a shade short of toe at this trip in third.”
And Jesus Wept.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
May 23, 2016 at 13:38 #1248112I’m sure these are the same punks who refused to pay out after Cheltenham after being taken to the cleaners for offering ridiculously good specials for new members saying a breach of t@c’s had been exploited.
They soon retracted once punters took if further and it was all over the newspapers.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
May 23, 2016 at 13:54 #1248115Just got another advertisment up for “Webuyanycar”, a sister company of Netbets’ “Wepriceupanyhorse”

Just done a forecast Conti to beat Djakadam
May 23, 2016 at 14:01 #1248116Ha! Never heard of either of these two jokers but could it be a software thing – reading KG & QE for The King George??

May 23, 2016 at 14:12 #1248117Could be although prices do differ. Vautour 3s for the flat race. A price of 57/17*
for the jumps race. Cue Card 7/2 flat 4/1 jumps.* I’ve never seen that price before
May 23, 2016 at 17:46 #1248134That 57/17 could be a coded message to any arbers planning to use their site. From the Book of Isaiah, CHapter 57, Verse 17:
“I was enraged by their sinful greed; I punished them, and hid my face in anger, yet they kept on in their willful ways.”
May 23, 2016 at 18:42 #1248138I note with interest that quote comes from the New International Version of the Good Book.
The New King James Version of the same volume gets to the crux of the matter with a more relevant interpretation.
“For the iniquity of his covetousness I was angry and struck him; I hid and was angry, And he went on bookmaking in the way of his heart.”

I am expecting that Vroum Vroum Mag may yet be supplemented for this one.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
May 24, 2016 at 16:09 #1248214Just when you thought it can’t get any worse, the betting for the Brigadier Gerard at Sandown on Thursday sees early odds in from several firms.
The trouble here is that odds are quoted for Scotland and it’s not him that’s in the race, it’s Scottish.
Whether this is Oddschecker at fault I don’t know but it’s getting ridiculous.
French 1000 Guineas winner La Cressonniere sat in the market for the French 2000 Guineas and not at all quoted in the 1000 Guineas for ages earlier this year.
Is anyone working on quality control with these people?
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
May 24, 2016 at 17:19 #1248219I have seen odds like 57/17 with 888. Mainly in the football markets. Never had a problem with 888 but with them not appearing on oddschecker I tend not to use them that much. Though I have just seen them reappear in the derby market
