Why is Bet 365 betting over broke in the 2:05 Newbury?
You can back every horse in the race with them and still make a profit.

Value Is EverythingMay 17, 2014 at 09:59 #479317Can’t bet any horse with them, closed my account after 3 losing £50 bets in high profile handicaps.
Mickey Mouse firm, not bookmakers.
May 18, 2014 at 09:31 #479436They are sometimes slow at adjusting prices and reacting to exchange moves, rendering themselves open to arb trading. They manage this, as Eddie points out, by restricting/closing accounts at the merest whiff of a punter having the slightest clue.
May 18, 2014 at 20:31 #479506I’ve heard people say Bet 365 close and limit accounts, but personally I have had around 12 accounts and they are the only one not to ever limit any bet. Seem to have slipped through their net.
They were at one point offering best price on all runners, with a 98% book.
If it was over-broke for any length of time doesn’t matter about limiting customers, there’s no profit in the race for them FULL STOP, whoever their customers are.
You could be right David; may be they’re just slow in changing prices. Unless…
…Did they advertise an offer on Mount Athos’s race? Guarranteed best price at a certain time of day? Needing to offer over-broke because the best price percentage of all the other bookies put together was so tight.

May 18, 2014 at 20:54 #479511No complaints about Bet365 from me.
No restrictions on stakes, user friendly online and over the phone, and they match best odds of their competitors at the weekend/big races.
Compare that to the jokers at Corals, Betfred and PP who won’t take much more than a fiver stake without running for cover.
May 18, 2014 at 21:21 #479517That explains things Nathan, thanks.
Value Is EverythingMay 19, 2014 at 17:42 #479569My experience with B365 was to be restricted to about 5p a bet fairly quickly. I complained and they did relent and let me bet up to about £20 under surveillance. However, my first bet after the let off was West End Rocker e/w in the Welsh National (a Gingertip if I recall correctly) . He won and I was back down to 5p again after that.
May 19, 2014 at 17:47 #479570What you need to do to stop being restricted is show them that you are a mug. Every 6 months or so play £10 via the slots.
job done they think you are a idiot and any winnings will be viewed as luck.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
May 19, 2014 at 18:02 #479572If you do see a bookie going overbroke for a non-promotional reason, remember they might be able to use the palpable error rule to welch on any bet you make. This has happened to me once in the past and so I am wary of free lunches now.
