Sad to hear this. Hope that the faller at the final fence in the back straight was okay.
Have to express my doubts whether this one was really loved throughout his career.
Moved from S B B Crawford to Jack Barber just after one race, then after two races for Jack Barber he was moved to Paul Nicholls, where he spent an unbelievable long time: two years. Then he joined the James Moffatt stable where he only lasted two races. Moved again to a new trainer Miss G Walton, after that he joined Nicky Richards for just one run. Finally he spent over a year at Maurice Barnes’ yard.Interesting enough that he ran in the CPS colours for four years and two different trainers.
Wow….The sports’ lesser lights just being shipped around over the years.
May he finally rest in peace after such a long and fruitless journey.
