Apparently Blackstairmountain has been turned over for a third time at 1.01 in running. That’s a roughly one in a million treble.
I don’t bet in running on races because the time delays on TV and radio leave you vulnerable to eyewitnesses and it requires rapid judgment of unfolding events. I get the impression in-running betters are mostly mug punters being fleeced by a few experts at the track.
I am beginning to think it might be worth giving it a go (ie being an expert rather than a mug) at the track and was wondering if anyone had tried it. e.g. is it just case of getting wifi on a laptop and tapping in 1.01 when the favourite is about to be collared on the line or is it more difficult than that?
