Low grade this may be and not everyones cup of tea but an awful lot of dead wood. Off this mark Grethel produced her career best at Haydock last year to win against Snow Dancer, she is 10lbs better for that race against Snow Dancer today who looks extremely exposed off her current weight. She has also won at the track so going right handed doesn’t pose a problem and won on GF ground last season at Hamilton over 9F. Her last race should be completely forgotten racing in a conditions race against Halicarnassus where she was 42lbs out against him and stood no chance.
Consistency would not be her middle name, granted. But 12/1+ looks a big price against some rivals who are far far far from bomb proof at 3/1 -> 6/1.
Her wins have come at prices of 25/1 – 16/1 – 8/1 – 12/1 so she’s worth taking a crack at running in at a hearty price.
