Think this is really decent looking race, and had eyes everywhere, particularly with Beat The Bat, and Lavida Adiva. Found it hard to split them, and didn’t fancy having two with the current price of Beat The Bat

Swerved them in the end, and decided to have an interest with a couple of the big outsiders in Dans Le Vent, and N’Golo

Dans Le Vent is one I used to follow a lot, and thought he wasn’t knocked about too much when well held in fourth last time. He’s down to a cracking mark, but this is short enough, and he’s maybe one for later in the year, but at around 66’s, happy to have an interest

N’Golo is half that price, and this could come too quick, having run on Saturday. I thought that was his best run for some time, and happy to see Gavin Sheehan

As I said, really like the look of this field, and some strong contenders at head of the market, but happy to have smaller interests on the two bigger priced runners

Edit – Sticking with Dans Le Vent as main hope, but had to cover N’Golo

    Dans Le Vent 66’s EW4Pls
    N’Golo 33’s

Punte Del Este 10s (BOG) :good:

Has won here, before. Goes well on softer ground and one suspects the ground, up there, will get softer as the hours roll by. Cant help but think he had one of those infamous Skelton ‘prep’ runs the other week.

I think Bowenspark had a decent first run of the season at Aintree and should improve from that. And just like VtC I like Dans le Vent. On this mark and this price it is an intereseting EW option.

    Bowenspark 8/1
    Dans le Vent 40/1 EW

Well done RtB, a very nice performance. I didn’t think his head was bowed that low in grim determination (Machin always likes to tell us that in any race on soft or worse over any trip longer than the minimum, where the front runner is still in the lead over the last and doesn’t actually have its ears in the jockey’s face) but he was tough alright, a well named horse.
