Spirits Bay for me 14-1 ew, I think he is very solid for a place in this
February 14, 2025 at 00:29 #1720490Think this is a really decent race.
Patriotik is a horse I really liked for The Stayers Handicap in November, and although he flopped in the mud there, I’d mark up him up for his next run at Aintree behind Red Dirt Road, as I really like that horse, who franked that Aintree form next time
Its a good few years since I paid as much attention to the Jonjo yard, but they’ve got a lot more of interest to me this year, including Country Park, and I think he’s a horse who’ll easily win a few decent prizes. Had him in mind for Aintree, but very interesting here.
Classic King wouldn’t be one with a typical profile for me, but he just grabbed me at Doncaster last time, and the 5lb swing doesn’t faze me.
Classic King is first bet, but I’m not certain I won’t add one of the other pair
Classic King 10’s

February 14, 2025 at 20:28 #1720538Jour d’Evasion won quite easily last time over this distance and the runner-up Santon Blue franked the form at Newbury. He could improve again.
Jour d’Evasion 12/1
February 14, 2025 at 21:00 #1720544Patriotik fair price 7/1, as VTC said, Red Dirt Road gave his effort a good boost the other day, I felt the rest had a bit more to prove.
