Le Milos is the horse with the biggest question marks surrounding him, but I won’t believe in any more “Skelton magic”.
Sam Brown is one who should be running on at the end of the race and I took the 25s EW about him.
Two others to interest me are course specialist Certainly Red at 25s and Courtland at 33s (everybody seems to nap him probably for the Bowen fast ground factor).The Irish raiders represent rather poor value, imo.
I’d have to be against those that had hard races in the Irish and English grand nationals
Amirite is also a dissapointingly short price for a horse who doesn’t actually win very often
I was hoping for 12/1 minimum to chance him
Sam Brown for me as well. Gutted at Aintree that he just didn’t have enough time to get first position. If he is fresh enough this trip should suit him perfectly. Also added Does He Know, he was impressive at Doncaster last time out. He is big price for someone who won quite easily. Finally added Back on good ground and a dangerous mark, unexposed as a stayer. Hopefully he can surprise.

Flash Collognes 40/1 EWSam Brown was my horse to follow at the start of the season. I can’t believe that, once I stopped backing him, having been bitterly disappointed, he got his act together and started running well. The bad news for those who have put money on him is that I have backed him today as I couldn’t risk him having a going day.
Flash Collonges 40-1 ew, and Bangers and Cash 33-1 ew for me. Flash Collonges will be my bigger bet of the two, and I will try to add another bet at a fancy price when I’m there.
Unlike Ruby I reckon today is Le Milos’s “gold cup”.. he’s had kid gloves all season, I’ve also played Minella Concooner , both e.w
Nick Rockett and Flash Collonges ew for me. Both might appreciate the ground and Nicholls has won some good races with horses in first time blinkers.
I do like Minella Cocooner but I think today’s aim might be to get him round nice and settled with a view to next year.
Well done winners, at least I got some EW money back with Certainly Red.
Incredible to see Mullins having a 1-3 in such a high profile race. Just shows you he wasn’t throwing darts at the Trainers’ Championship.
