Tomorrow night at 21:06 and 22:12 respectively

Plenty of European runners in both

Nothing jumping out at me right now other than I want to be against Concert Hall and Stone Age.

Going to do some digging through the American form and see if a bet emerges.

    In the oaks I’m backing
    With the moonlight 8/1
    Consumer spending 7/1

Prepared to give with the moonlight another go at that price after she took too keen a hold in the oaks. Down in trip and Anerican style racing could well suit her.

Consumer spending managed to beat breeders cup juvenile fillies turf winner Pizza Biance on reappearance and followed up in a grade 2 at Belmont under hands and heels riding.

In the Derby I’m siding with nations pride 3/1

who was dissapointing in the Derby but had previously battered hoo yah mal by 7 lengths. In the Derby he had a bit of a nightmare trip getting shuffled back in the first couple of furlongs and ended up challenging widest of all but still plugged on ending up not far behind stone age who had a much better passage.

Hey FF, thanks for starting this one up. I didn’t like the Derby, too many if’s and big butts.

So I’ll stick with the Oaks and I’ll favor the Chad Brown inmate Haughty. She proved herself to be up to this level when an excellent third in the juvenile turf last year, consumer spending was just behind.
She’s only had the one run this year but she scooted through to win a listed event over a mile and that should see her spot on for this.
I reckon she’ll get the trip fine, ground is fine, draw is good and is trained by the turf king. He has won this race 5 times, 4 in a row between 2012-15 but hasn’t won it since 2017.
Flavien Prat hasn’t won the race before so it would be nice for this prolific team combination to get one in for the history books.

    Haughty 4/1 (medium bet)

I might follow you in on Tiz The Bomb. I’ll wait to see how I fare tomorrow through the day.
He’s run 4 times on dirt with some success but never got involved in the Kentucky Derby. His last run on grass however was a good 2nd to Modern Games in the grade 1 juvenile in the Breeders Cup last season.
Decent price too at around 8/1

The ‘Dog in the Derby, although it looks like he may need a strong pace to run at.

New Year’s Eve in the Oaks. Impressed in her last race. This race seems more competitive of the two…

I’ll take Tiz The Bomb now. Not seen much of the jockey, hopefully he’s decent. Keep it coming.

Not sure why I didn’t have any reservations about Haughty staying the trip because that was the most not staying the trip performance I’ve seen this year.

I didn’t notice 151, you sure it wasn’t New Years Eve you were looking at?
