The King of Grade 1s at Leopardstown. Never afraid of taking on decent Gold Cup chasers, though he never performed that well at Cheltenham, he was never wrapped in cotton wool….

A very memorable race from 2007.

Salmon ftw, o Friendsheep; though from an environmental impact point of view, I don’t need any persuasion to swap more of even my salmon intake for mussels. Nom.

Looking back, BoS had a very unorthodox prep; never actually ran in any novice chase; went straight into graded chases, won Lexus and Irish Hennessy, then fell in Gold Cup, after which he never quite jumped with the same fluency, I thought.
