I kicked off the new year with a nice short priced double – Art Man 8/11 & and O’Maley 13/8, but as I tend to veer on the side of caution, as a prospective participant, I see myself not fit for purpose, so therefore will have to disclude myself from consideration.

Considering the first race is not scheduled until January 26th, perhaps TRF should have its own tipping challenge to decide who represents the forum.

Races could be selected at random over a weekend prior to the first event on the 26th.

As for no showers maybe the non-playing captains make selections then their selections replace any non selections.

Yep all goes ahead….on Talkinghorses the deadline for those taking part is Monday. This is to give those organising time to pick the “players” for Saturday and teams for Sunday. Good up take on TH (http://talkinghorses.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=22056&st=30&#entry397671) and there seems to be a good up take here as well so it should be fun

Scribbles – I’ll be doing a draw (out of a hat) tomorrow night from those who’ve registered an interest. I need 12 players and 2 reserves. I’ll post the team tomorrow after the draw. Those who don’t make it will be drafted in next time around.
