I was 16, it was a great weekend, apart from the rain, the toilets and losing my shoes.
What a line up, couldn’t beat it these days.
I went to a festival @ that time, stayed for a day or so and decided to go home..as I walked one way loads of people were walking the other way asking me if the festival had been cancelled! Did Glastonbury start the following year? I never have worked out which festival I actually nearly went to!
That’s some lineup, threenaps. Never mind a festival line up, I don’t think the entire industry today could muster a lineup like that.
Yes this was the forerunner of the Glastonbury festivals. If you don’t remember being there you quite possibly were !!
well, I was nearly not there..it’s puzzled me for years where I actually was; lot of blankness for me around that time but, worryingly not because I was stoned..just got a terrible memory….
