This looks a decent race, an intriguing one even with the minimal form to go on.
Surprisingly Paul Nicholls hasn’t won this race previously but I’m backing Hermes Allen to break that duck.

It is difficult to ascertain how good his 20+ length win last time was but he is in the market at 7/2 and that essentially has made it impossible for me not to have a stab.

Mullins has the current fav, he looks sure to be suited by a step up in trip, We’veallbeencaught has his first hurdles run since beating todays rival Collectors Item in a bumper. That one won on his hurdles bow, beating a subsequent winner.
The others have a fair shout.
Anyway decent race, I’m in jumps mode now after a cracking Breeders cup flat finale.

    Hermes Allen 7/2

I was at Stratford when Hermes Allen won.

They tend to overwater there and it’s tougher to get home than many imagine.

    Really nice hurdler.
