Mullins believes Sir Gerard is more likely to come here than the Supreme so I’ve taken some of the 7s
November 1, 2021 at 20:08 #1565832Iv decided to wait until we see track evidence on all the mullins novice hurdlers and chasers now
Reading his stable tour he has so many prospects and whilst he offered a potential target on a few he won’t stick to that if the way they run on the track says so (ala appreciate it last year)
Itll mean taking shorter prices but will mean way less wasted bets
November 1, 2021 at 20:13 #1565835Journey With Me 18-1 atm. Also on him in the longer race.
December 11, 2021 at 22:30 #1572003I’ve already backed Grangeclare West at 33s (coulda left him…he’s still 33s).
My second bet is Hob House at 40s ew. I liked the look of him in the stable tour.
December 23, 2021 at 10:36 #1574094Added Sir Gerhard 11-2
December 26, 2021 at 12:45 #1574543Ok start.
December 26, 2021 at 19:35 #1574682Did Mullins said something about going here instead of the Supreme, Mike?
December 26, 2021 at 20:17 #1574692The owners want to go here Mullins said to Don Mclean in an interview before this weekend’s racing, when Mclean asked him about maybe upping him in trip to the Albert Bartlett 3 miles later in the season, so we will have to see.
December 26, 2021 at 20:51 #1574701I’d be very much of the view he’s a Supreme horse. Where was the interview MIke?
Judging by his interview after racing today- he’ll be staying over 2m until he tellls them otherwise. He mentioned he toyed with running him FTO in the G1 2m hurdle, so that shows the level he thinks he is.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!December 26, 2021 at 22:59 #1574735Oops i just listened to it again. Willie was non committal regarding the Sir Gerhard target it was a different one where he mentioned Ballymore. 2 horses were talked about at the same time and i heard it incorrectly.
December 27, 2021 at 00:54 #1574741He looked like a supreme horse all over today
As he did in his bumpers
Dysart dynamo or kilcruit are the ones of willies I like for this
Hopefully one or both run in the lawlors of naas
December 27, 2021 at 05:08 #1574745Mullins thought he would be better over further pre-season so we will see.

Yeah he said that, but he also said Kilcruit was more a 2m horse, and in their bumpers i think a lot of people thought Sir G was the faster, and beat Kilcruit with a good ride/speed in the Chelt bumper.
Simon Rowlands also pointed out that stride analysis suggested Sir G was very much a 2miler.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!December 27, 2021 at 10:57 #1574770Neither will beat Jonbon anyway. ;o)
December 27, 2021 at 11:17 #1574776Kilcruit declared in a strong looking 2m4f maiden hurdle
Journey with me and former very useful flat performer Falcon eight line up
December 29, 2021 at 12:46 #1575346Nice from Journey With Me.
He may still go Albert Bartlett.Kilcruit to come back to 2 miles and Sir Gerhard for the Ballymore is what i would do. Sir Gerhard has a better chance in the Ballymore than the Supreme taking on Jonbon imo.
December 29, 2021 at 18:37 #1575394Kilcruit looked to lose his action to me
Journey with me would have a chance in the bartlett mot sure hes quick enough for this
