Will the real Ancient Wisdom show up?

Is the ground sufficient as an excuse? Below form in both Dante and Derby, despite having a softish surface at Epsom.
Did he not act on the track?
Will soft ground mean a return to form at Newmarket?
There doesn’t look to be a recognised front runner in the now 4 horse race. Will a return to more prominent tactics bring a resurgence in form?
Will a return to form be good enough against three improving types?
Are there too many question marks about him to be value here?

Ancient Wisdom is imo the most likely pace setter and might get a fairly easy lead. I’m usually one for backing such horses… But just feel he’s got so many question marks that make him opposable at the price.

Space Legend is progressive and his second in the King Ed is surely the best of this season’s form in this race. Do have a slight question mark whether he’ll settle in a slowish run race upped in trip. Has the size to keep on improving.

Royal Supremacy wasn’t far behind Space Legend in the King Ed and (40/1 there) showed more improvement than the Haggas horse. One of the reasons for the odds that day was his form was mostly on a soft surface. Tomorrows surface should not be a problem to him.

Portland was well beaten in the Hampton Court, although dropping back in trip did surprise me there. Should be better off over this distance and ground. However, his form does appear far more exposed than the other three. I’m also not convinced he’s 100% genuine. Has an awkward head carriage and although has front run did not seem to enjoy doing so. Although maybe that was more to do with being first time out.

I’ve backed both Space Legend and Royal Supremacy.
