Good evening all, cracking effort Marble.
I myself had narrowed it down to three, those being Leading Attraction, although a fan of Team Nicholls they can’t win everything and as you rightly said prohibitive odds appear to be the case.
I respect you opinion on Ardaghey but i am not sure.
Just wish the Tizzard gaff was in slightly better nick but i am prepared to take a chance with Leading Authority.
Good luck to everyone.
Adrian.
November 8, 2008 at 03:29 #188692Trigger the Light loves the ground and the trip. 3/3 on anything within a furlong of this distance (all at GS or softer)
He may be lazy but if the horse takes to the step up in company then this could be the bet of the day.
Leading Authority is the main danger in my opinion.
November 8, 2008 at 03:34 #188694Good stuff Marb, nice write-up.
Havent got much to add, as i havent studied the race at all.
I wouldnt go with the RP’s assessment of Trigger The Light though, he has done well at home lately, he just doesnt find much off the bridle, so he has to be ridden with that in mind, but that is different from bring ‘lazy’ as the RP assessor seems to think.
November 8, 2008 at 03:37 #188696Ardaghey’s strength has always been going well fresh. His tailed-off effort under his ideal conditions at Cheltenham last time hardly encourages a bet on him tomorrow. Like the look of Trigger the Light but 9/2 tonight doesn’t set the pulse racing.
November 8, 2008 at 05:13 #188710Trigger The Light or Island Flyer for me.
November 8, 2008 at 22:13 #188827Well done Marb with Cornish Sett and Island Flyer.
