Apparently the National winner has come through an operation to repair a fracture to one of his legs.
Lets hope that his recovery continues so that he can enjoy his retirement.
Good luck old boy.January 29, 2014 at 21:58 #466477Happy retirment to a wonderful horse, looked impressive in the flesh on Saturday, enjoy your retirement old boy.
January 29, 2014 at 21:59 #466478That’s sad news Coggy.
Aurora’s did me a great favour last year.
Although serious it doesn’t sound life threatening at this stage.Hope he has a long and happy retirement.
Value Is EverythingJanuary 29, 2014 at 23:12 #466489Hope he has a long and happy retirement, I’m sure he won’t want for carrots. Aintree paraded the winner after racing on National day, which was a great little touch that I hope they continue doing. This is a pic I took of Aurora’s Encore when they did that…he was a bit of a character, like most of the good ones.
