was just intrested in this because i was at cork today it was a pretty decent card and there were not many people there i know there is a recession but i have a theory with 2 racing channels and 24/7 coverage there is not much incentive to acutually drag yourself of the chair and go i would be intrested if the 2 channels were off air for a month would attendences go up i presume they need people through the gates to make the tracks pay but from what i have seen lately this cant be the case is the money of the tv channels making up the short fallings i fear the way things are going a lot of tracks will cease to be about in a few years time and i for one think that would be such a shame
