Unless Sean, Hugh or James have something spectacular left may I be the first to congratulate you Mike on a great season. Your a worthy winner sir. I threw everything at you today (& the season) but came up just short.
Also thank you Graham for keeping it altogether with the updates which I’m sure is a lot of work. I’ve enjoyed my first crack at it & also reading up on the banter between all the gang. Hope to do it all again next season. Cheers
April 28, 2018 at 18:59 #1352456Welcome to the forum tino
you’re not Jan Molby is disguise are you…?
Well played Mike and well done BigG keeping the show goingCharles Darwin to conquer the World
April 28, 2018 at 22:52 #1352472Thanks Nathan. Hahaha no I’m not the big fella but he was a big hero of mine growing up & thought i’d honour him by putting up his luvly big face.
April 29, 2018 at 00:12 #1352478Aw well, looks like that’s it for another year (or for 6 months anyway!!). It’s been a cracking season although I managed to accumulate only 20 points in the past 3 weeks !! Well done Mike – great score, and thanks Graham for the scholarly previews and updates which I promise to pay more attention to next season !!
April 29, 2018 at 00:26 #1352481Well it’s official now, Mike Nijjar (Man Superstars) has more or less lead from the front
for most of the competition, and keeps his bottle with the pack closing at the end to
take the honours
Absolutely outstanding effort Mike, you are a
very worthy winner and your management of your stable here (not to mention romping home
in Nathan’s League in the Telegraph Aintree compy) has been second to none and shows you
really know your horses. I’ll contact you in a PM and I can arrange to transfer over your
well earned £50
Cheers Tino, I’m glad you enjoyed the competition and welcome to the forum. I’m taking it from
your photo that you are Heston Valantino (Jan Molby Blood Eagle). You came with a wet sail in the
last furlong and came up just one bonus race short. A first class effort, and joint top scorer on
the final day. I’d be delighted to see you back later in the year for another rattle at it. Brilliant
effort
Congratulations to James Jones (Gud Things) for taking the final place on the podium, and to the
many that were just on his coat tails. It was a terrific effort and I think you’ve all done TRF proud.I’ve got to throw in an extra thanks to Jac (Triptych), Virginia (Greenasgrass), Catherine (Tonge)
and Nathan (Show me The Mane Salah) for their comments that kept me on my toes and let me know
someone was out there
Lastly, many thanks to all that took part and helped get TRF to 58th in the competition. As I’ve
mentioned before, I think that considering we had a large league, we did exceptionally well to
finish well clear of any similarly sized League. Perhaps there might be some consideration from
ATR to take league size into the equation next year, I have a couple of ideas, but regardless of
that I think the competition has been a rip roaring success.Hope to see as many back here again later this year and we can have another go
April 29, 2018 at 00:39 #1352482Cheers Inthestream, I had a bit of a lull myself in the last few weeks….and at
other times
The good thing is we only have another 6 months or so until
we get a chance to redeem ourselves and do it all again. Well done and thanks for
getting the league opened up in the first place
April 29, 2018 at 09:43 #1352500Thanks everyone for the kind messages and big thanks to Big G for doing the score updates and keeping everyone on their toes as it were.
Not sure how long the ATR comp has been running for but thought I would give it a 1st try and as it turned out I did OK.
I also came across this site about a year ago was just a reader to start with but when I saw there was an ATR TRF mini league thought I would challenge myself with like minded individuals to see how I would fair.
And it’s been a lot of fun. Thanks again all and I look forward to trying to defend my crown next season.
April 29, 2018 at 10:06 #1352509Well done Mike a brilliant run at the top from start to finish, a worthy winner.

Big thanks to Graham for running this as I said we couldn’t have got through it without your weekly updates and weekly reminders of the upcoming Bonus Races.
Didn’t manage to make it onto Page 1 for the final week due to sloppy housekeeping on my part and subbing out Altior last Saturday as I thought his work was done for the season.
Next time I promise to be more on the ball Graham.Thoroughly enjoyed being part of the TRF League which 60th position in no way reflects the blood and sweat and tears put into it by BigG and everyone who posted on a weekly basis, but at least there was a League competition and we have something to aim for next time.

Put your feet up now Graham and enjoy the flat season.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 2, 2018 at 22:41 #1352823Thanks Bobby, I think it’s a good competition and hopefully there might be
a change or two with the League Of Leagues set up which gives larger leagues
a fair shout. I’ll see what they say and post any update. - AuthorPosts
