Well done Lingfield at long last you’ve actually managed to put together a whole flat meeting on the turf manfully fighting off the desire to chuck in a few AW races. Even with the NH fixtures they still manage to sneak in a bumper on the sand. The logic of this for both course and trainers escapes me since it’s a surface they will never be asked to race in later life

August 30, 2012 at 10:17 #411434Probably off limits as new polytrack is being put down.
August 30, 2012 at 15:47 #411472indeed , if it was not the track resurfacing etc , we would have more donk fests 0/55 , Sberry must be incandescent with withdrawal symptoms

Never mind Sir , now that Frankel is off limits for the donkey (winter)derby, perhaps you could start a berating campaign against Coolmore for not preparing Camelot for such a momentous event

Its all rubbish and you know it Sir , dirty racing , covered by Bookies channel for mugs , supported by idiots , profited by shrewd bookies , lamented by true racing afficions, promoted by racing rulers , cheered to rooftops by greedy racecourses
Modern day racing in England , once the envy of the world , now scorned and sneered at worldwide …class f my assssssssssssss

August 30, 2012 at 22:18 #411533There was a post last week saying Lingfield only has 1 or 2 more solely turf meetings coming up, shame the rest of their fixtures couldn’t be moved away from the dreadful all weather.
September 3, 2012 at 11:31 #411855There is an argument that handicaps are fairer and more competitive on the AW.
Guess we’ll see when the new fixtures list comes out again which courses get the most meetings and which tracks aren’t as viable.
September 4, 2012 at 15:37 #412028Dont worry sir , Leafy will have its normal 90/100 meetings of solid dross , so you and other annual members who live nearby,,can enjoy the donk fests at leisure
Rest assured though its just betting shop fodder for mugs to do their dough , enough to send both you and Cav in raptures over the dirty racing …
It takes all sorts I suppose ……

imo
