hate disagreeing but 15/22 is not a trait I would say is difficult to win with, quirky and needs everything to fall right I would agree with, but as someone once sung ‘its only words’ and I know what you mean
June 21, 2018 at 14:41 #1357759btw he has won 2 of his last three, think you must have missed his win at Longchamp recently
June 21, 2018 at 14:48 #1357763Should’ve said two of last four.
Value Is EverythingJune 21, 2018 at 15:00 #1357767I backed Torcedor ante post, thinking Ii was doing well at 14/1,
but I’m afraid that the ground looks to have gone against him. Having said that,
he ran okay on g/f in this last year and wasn’t disgraced in 5th, but his best
form is without doubt with some cut. He’s out to 18/1, which probably tells a
tail. I hope I’m wrong but I think his chance has maybe gone. I think Order Of
St George might add to his tally of one win and a one runner up in this.June 21, 2018 at 16:27 #1357781Yes, yes, yes!
Ante-post winner for thee and me Stevie boy!
Value Is EverythingJune 21, 2018 at 16:28 #1357782Quality animal there, to out-battle Vazirabad like that.
Don’t know what was wrong with George but from the moment he stepped foot onto the course he didn’t look happy. I knew he wouldn’t win a mile out.
June 21, 2018 at 16:29 #1357783and me Ginge at 10’s and TAPK
After a woeful few days have had two in a row, like buses they say
Now for Crack on Crack onBlackbeard to conquer the World
June 21, 2018 at 16:35 #1357785Great to hear so many of us were on, TAPK too. Could’ve guessed.
tbh We were all a bit lucky George did a Cracksman, Nathan.Value Is EverythingJune 21, 2018 at 16:35 #1357786He looked like a wee boy taking on three heavy-weight boxers there.
Perhaps Vazirabad got there a little early, as Stradivarius fought back to get ahead again. I have backed Vazirabad before for this race and he didn’t come over for it. That has looked to be a shame, as it was a thrilling race this year and it may have meant more exciting races in recent seasons.
I’m not a fan of these long races because they can often be dull but I felt the Gosden colt could have a say at 8/1 and he’s been tough today beyond his size.
Order Of St George hit that flat spot again and took some stoking. Perhaps on this ground he couldn’t battle on.
Best renewal I can remember watching as a spectacle, if not in class terms.
Well done all winners, the Shetland Pony was immense.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
June 21, 2018 at 16:35 #1357787well done Vaz backers what a great race, he had class/speed/guts and he stayed
June 21, 2018 at 16:39 #1357789Well done Ginge, Steve, Nathan and TAPK (where is he?), and anyone else who backed
him. Cracking race and I was really pleased with the run of Torcedor on ground
that wasn’t ideal, he ran a blinder and was a good e/w return at 14s and topped
up when he drifted to 18s e/w. I’m not sure Order Of St George had his mind fully
on the job today, but that takes nothing away from the gutsy win of StradivariusJune 21, 2018 at 16:46 #1357790had two in a row, like buses they say
That’s what you get when following my tips, Nathan.
Value Is EverythingJune 21, 2018 at 19:55 #1357843Torcedor ran a fantastic race there….the improvement he’s made the past few years has been fantastic.

What price Torcedor for the World Hurdle?
June 21, 2018 at 22:54 #1357861Well done lads.
I missed the big prices like you lot though I did back him antepost (see page 1) at 7/2 so I’ll take that too.
Very good horse
June 21, 2018 at 23:31 #1357870Lost a shoe, finished lame, some performance, i had my doubts
Vazirabad….. hate the horse lol, but what a run on ground hed not be entirely at home on.
