I don’t think that he’ll be quite good enough, but I’ve went with Mekong here at 50-1 ew

According to BBC weather its raining at the course all night, not sure if that’s the most accurate source though! Hope it stays good ground for the champ.

I’ve had Cross Counter pegged for this since his run in this last year. I fancied
him then, and he did very little wrong with a running on 4th, less than 2L behind Stradivarius.
James Doyle, who is riding out of his skin with 12 winners in the last week, knows him well and
Appleby’s yard is firing on all cylinders. I think Paddy Power are sticking their neck right out
    at 14/1.

I’m going with Cross Counter also as the second highest-rated and the most likely to shock I think. He prefers faster ground, but I’m with you Big G, he looked like the winner briefly last year and that was on Soft. Should be GS today.

That said, I will defo save on Strad….People are forgetting it was soft LY! He’s a very backable price now 4/5

Cross Counter 12/1 (as PP will probably only let us have a quid on!)
    Stradivarious 4/5

That was a pleasure to watch

For a horse that stays so well to have that turn of foot is a truly deadly combination

He will make a very very good national hunt sure

Looking forward to seeing his progeny winning at cheltenham in 6-8 years

That was brilliant, brought tears to my eyes!
He looked like he had just been dropped into the race at the end there, the others toiling behind were mostly out on their feet (great run by Nayef Road).

Unreal stuff, doesnt get any better, how you rate that ill never know.

the horse in second could be one to keep an eye on in france or back here next year (if strad retires)

Some bad news about Technician he suffered a career ending injury so Sky Sport Racing reported earlier in the day. I think it’s his tendon. Thankfully though it’s not life threatening so while we may not see him race he will still be in some field galloping away somewhere!

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.
